The scope of inspections for illegal camping is being expanded – 2024-04-16 11:51:54

The interdepartmental commission, organized on the initiative of the regional governor of the Burgas region, Plamen Yanev, continues with the thorough checks for illegally placed caravans, tents and campers on the territory of sea beaches, forests, agricultural properties, protected areas and localities in the Burgas region – all state-owned properties .

In just two days, 80 caravans were found illegally located on the beach “Vromos” near Chernomorets.

For the moment, the checks are precautionary. As a result of the information campaign, 20 of them were voluntarily removed by their owners.

“We established caravans with all possible violations. Some are placed on the beach, others on dunes, on state forest fund, in agricultural lands without the necessary documents,” the regional governor announced in connection with the action against illegal camping on the Southern Black Sea coast.

During the inspections, illegal wells were found, one of them – on a beach. A tent was also discovered in a ravine.

Plamen Yanev thanked the people who voluntarily moved their caravans. “We have established two categories of people – some comply with the legal norms and cooperate voluntarily, and others who do not realize the essence of the problem,” he commented.

Inspections continue at Vromos Beach, expanding the range of inspected properties. Properties will also be checked upon reports from citizens.

The fishing village in the area of Chengene Skele is also on the agenda for checks, where, in addition to caravans, motor boats, vans, belongings and equipment are located on state properties.

Part of the land properties in this area have identifiers: 07079.10.937, 07079.10.973, 07079.10.945, 07079.10.1181 according to the KKKR of the city of Burgas.

An interdepartmental commission will describe the violations. If the owners of illegally located objects and facilities do not remove them after being warned, documents worth BGN 1,000 to 3,000 will be drawn up and forced relocation.

The district governor Plamen Yanev calls on the owners of caravans, motor boats, vans, belongings and equipment illegally located on state land to show a responsible attitude towards their personal property, to comply with the legal norms and to remove them.
