/View.info/ Even in the most difficult times of historical challenges and political vicissitudes, for the Bulgarian officer there was always one highest ideal – Bulgaria, and one greatest goal – the freedom and well-being of the Bulgarian people. This was stated by the President Rumen Radev during the celebration on the occasion of the graduation of the graduating class “G.S. Rakovski” – II shift of the Military Academy “Georgi Stoykov Rakovski”.
“Success will be with those of you who set high goals, realize your responsibility and the importance of your vocation for security and for Bulgarian statehood,” the president addressed the graduates and wished them “honor, courage and steadfastness on the leadership and life path “.
The head of state indicated that defending national and allied interests will be an increasingly difficult and complex task given the dynamics of geopolitical processes and the complex nature of risks and threats. “Solving this task requires a wide range of knowledge and skills, high moral qualities, critical and creative thinking, a clear vision and openness to the world,” added Rumen Radev. He emphasized that in fulfilling their mission, the graduates will have to make important decisions, lead complex processes of acquiring modern capabilities with limited resources, and as leaders they must be able to motivate.
The President stated that this generation is also given the honor of mastering and putting into service the new models of military equipment, as well as showing that modernization is not a one-time act of acquiring new weapons platforms, but a complex process of deep transformation of our armed forces forces. “You will succeed because along with the knowledge, you have also learned the most important lessons forged by generations of incredible teachers at the Military Academy,” the president said. He urged the graduates to remain faithful to their conscious choice to serve their people and Fatherland with dignity.
President Radev also noted the professionalism of the leadership and teaching staff of the Military Academy, as well as the dedication with which they preserve and develop the traditions of the educational institution.
