Musical talents for “Incontri sul Palcoscenico” at “De Filippis Galdi”

Important musical event at the high school “De Filippis Tables”directed by the head teacher, Maria Alfano. On April 20th the Cavese school will host the event in the main hall “Meetings on the Stage” organized by ESTA (European String Teachers Association), an international association that promotes the pedagogy and teaching of stringed instruments and contributes to the professional training of instrumentalists, both in the initial phase of the profession and as subsequent ongoing training.

A day dedicated to ensemble music and open to students from all over Campania, from different training courses such as music high schools or conservatories in the region. Of the musical high school of De Filippis Tables violin students will participate, Alberto Baruzzi, Roberta Palmieri e Paola Benedetta Virnoand cello, Luca Galotto e Mattia D’Amicoteachers’ students Giuseppina Niglio e Ivan Iannone.

On the day of the Playday, from 9am to 6pm, the students will gather to form one or more string orchestras conducted by expert conductors who will guide them in the study of the pieces scheduled for the final concert which will take place in the afternoon. The examining commission is important. In addition to a representation from the ESTA association, there will be Anna Modestiprofessor at the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland, Giuseppe Carotenutoconcert of the first violins of the Teatro San Carlo of Napoli, Diana Gaci Scalettiteacher in orchestral courses for children at the School of Music of Fiesole, Ivan Iannone, cello teacher at the Liceo De Filippis Galdi. The participants who have distinguished themselves will perform in the national ESTA exhibition which takes place annually in the city of Cremona in the month of May.
