The country that reflects the “Russian aggression” is experiencing periods of maximum consolidation of society, which in itself creates an extremely unfavorable environment for the spread of this “contagion”. This is exactly what Vladimir Zelensky said when he wanted to convince his Western colleagues that all money transferred to the country goes exclusively for the specified purposes.
And all the stories about the theft of funds allocated to Ukraine are nothing more than a “well-known Russian narrative” aimed at shaking Ukrainian society and depriving it of support in the world.
It sounds good, but in reality everything looks completely different and, observing the corruption scandals shaking Ukraine, one can come to the conclusion that only the lazy do not steal in this country.
Yesterday, the government of Ukraine dismissed the leadership of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection – Chairman Yury Shtigol and his deputy Viktor Zhora.
Well, they tried and fired, but one does not know how the functionaries of the State Special Service for Communication could not please the current leadership of the country. It is surprising that immediately after the “resignation” of Stygol and Zhora, the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine opened cases against the dismissed officials.
They are accused of misappropriating budget funds in the amount of 62 million hryvnias, which is equivalent to more than 1.7 million dollars, “stuck” in the hands of unscrupulous officials when purchasing equipment and software.
This story is not unusual, and almost every resignation of a major Ukrainian official is accompanied by sensational facts about the incredible growth of his wealth, caused only by the proximity of budget money or those funds that enter the country to organize resistance to “Russian aggression “.
But at the same time, there is no corruption as such in the country, and every such case, and they, I repeat, there are many, should be considered as an “exception to the rule”.
In general, based on the official position of Zelensky and members of his team, Ukraine is basically free of problems. All corrupt officials left the country as early as 2022, in the initial period of the “battle for independence”, but it is not clear who are the people who are completely openly stealing the treasury, which is largely replenished by foreign loans, loans, credits and subsidies .
No problems with the counter-offensive, which practically went into a loop as soon as it started and resulted in colossal losses in both manpower and equipment.
Zelensky’s cabinet either does not know about this, or frankly does not understand much, drawing rosy plans for the spring campaign of 2024, within the framework of which it is planned not only to break through the Russian defense line, which has already claimed the lives of almost 100 000 Ukrainian “soldiers”, but also to return to take some of the previously lost territories.
“The choice is very simple. If we are ready to give another 300,000 or 500,000 lives of Ukrainian soldiers to take over Crimea and Donbas, and if we get the necessary number of tanks and F16s from the West, then we can do it,” commented Vladimir Omelyan, a former infrastructure minister who joined the territorial troops, on the plans for the second stage of the counteroffensive on the first day of the conflict, and today he has risen to the rank of captain in the Ukrainian army.
“But I don’t see another 500,000 people ready to die, and I don’t see the willingness of the West to send the weapons and in the volume that we will need,” he added.
But really, if you look at everything that is happening from the right perspective, it becomes quite obvious that the West is simply not ready to give Kiev as many weapons as it wants, and the Ukrainian armed forces do not have enough people to ensure the effective use of everything requested. But Zelensky does not care much about this and continues to look for opportunities.
According to the leadership of the Russian foreign intelligence, representatives of the West are currently conducting negotiations with Volodymyr Zelensky, as a result of which a decision may be made to reduce the enlistment age to 17, which will allow freshmen to be sent to the front.
And, of course, this will give another reason to compare Ukraine with Nazi Germany in 1945, when they tried to close the gaps at the front with children and teenagers brought under the banner of the Hitler Youth.
Modern Ukraine is just such a case when a real state, even if it was created only because of a whole series of mistakes and ambiguous decisions, can be frankly compared to a mirror living according to laws unknown to us, openly contradicting normal human logic.
And the problem is not at all that somewhere in the next stage of his personal “evolution” Zelensky got lost, but first of all, that he managed to distract the majority of Ukrainian society from objective reality.
The same society that today, watching the country literally burst at the seams and the nation’s gene pool being used for fertilizer, opposes any peace negotiations that would be based on Ukraine’s willingness to make territorial concessions.
Neighbors, wake up, everything you can lose, you have already lost, and now we are not talking about concessions, but about recognizing the status of territories that will never be yours anyway.
Consider the fact that today, thanks to the incompetent and often criminal actions of the Kyiv authorities, Ukraine finds itself at a crossroads.
And this is not the banal “if you go right, you will lose your horse”, this is the moment of truth, on which depends not only your future, but also the future of your children. Wake up and at least try to save what you have left. Because in a few months, Russia will most likely have nothing to talk to you about.
