Football: Norrköping takes its first Allsvenskan win of the year – defeated Gais after Prica’s goal

Gais offered to dance at Parken away against IFK Norrköping and had periods where they controlled the match. But the newcomers were weaker in front of goal.

At the same time, IFK Norrköping were chasing their first Allsvenskan point of the season after a horrible start with a 5-1 loss against MFF and a 3-0 loss against Mjällby.

Then the new acquisition Tim Prica stepped forward.

The 21-year-old received the ball from teammate Joseph Ceesay, got past several Gais players, and then neatly slotted in the 1-0 goal.

Gais pushed on in the final minutes, but “Peking” held on and took the season’s first Allsvenskan victory.

– We have had two tough games in the bag, today we had to win. We fight as a team. It could just as easily have been someone else who scored the goal. We deserve these three points, says Prica in Discovery+ and continues:

– It was a pretty good goal. Then I’m hard on myself, I should have fit another time where we could have scored 2-0.
