The National Multiple Sclerosis Society completed the “Move for Multiple Sclerosis” campaign, which continued throughout the holy month of Ramadan, and was launched in conjunction with Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month, with the aim of supporting for people living with multiple sclerosis, by encouraging participation. in various sports and physical activities. The number of participants in the campaign reached around 3,000 people in the country during the month of Ramadan, including employees of institutions and organizations that support the campaign.
Participants in “Action for Multiple Sclerosis” put a total of 2,426,526,815 steps – equivalent to 296,693 kg. This is equivalent to walking around the circumference of the Earth seven times.

Many government institutions and leading companies participated in the “Act for Multiple Sclerosis” campaign, including: Mubadala, Abu Dhabi Stem Cell Center (ADSCC), Property Company (ADQ), Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Community Grants Authority – Together, and the Lulu Group. These partners actively supported the campaign and encouraged their employees to participate in it. The number of employees who participated in the campaign reached approximately 1,000 employees.
The initiative also included a community challenge, and several sports clubs contributed to support it, including: “Yoga One,” “Motion,” “Chapter Studio,” “Seven Wellness Center,” “The Bridge Wellness Hub,” “Inspire Sports,” and “Bellatic Fitness Studio,” “Breathes Wellness,” and “Crank,” as these gyms donated their profits from exercise classes to the National Multiple Sclerosis Association’s “Move for Multiple Sclerosis” campaign Sclerosis.
The “Act for Multiple Sclerosis” campaign sought to empower people living with multiple sclerosis, through movement and mobilizing community solidarity with them, which is consistent with the mission of the National Society Multiple Sclerosis to raise awareness about multiple sclerosis, reduce misconceptions about it, and secure the necessary funding to support multiple sclerosis research and studies to find a cure for it.
