A group of Cuban fishermen managed to capture the exact moment in which a hammerhead shark began to attack their raft while they were sailing near the coast of Havana.
The short video, shared on social networks, shows the fishermen while the animal swims around their raft and begins to bite various parts of the cork.
The animal’s actions evidently took the boat’s passengers by surprise, who could not realize what was happening in front of their eyes.
“What kind of madness! Look at that, Asere! How it bites into the cork. “Here he comes again!” one of the fishermen behind the camera can be heard shouting.
He clarified that the shark attack could not sink them, but stressed that this was a behavior that was not seen every day.
“It’s not going to take us down, but… what kind of shark. “They are anecdotes that only we live,” she added.
Another passenger joked a little, warning his companion not to take his feet out of the raft, while the animal continued swimming around the boat and taking a bite or two.
The video was shared on the Miami Fishing profile, but they clarified that the shark was seen near the Greater Antilles. In the publication, several Internet users could not help but point out the large size of the animal.

While sightings of hammerhead sharks off the Cuban coast are relatively frequent events, it is rare for them to display such aggressive behavior.
The boat used by the fishermen is of a handmade design, which uses wood and foam rubber, similar to that used by rafters who try to reach the United States irregularly.
