Nikos Vertis was admitted to the hospital on Saturday night due to food poisoning.
As expected his shows were canceled with the nightclub releasing a statement trying to reassure his fans.
«Due to the urgent transfer of Nikos Vertis to the hospital, the scheduled appearances of our favorite artist at Yton The Music Show for this weekend will not take place. Yton The Music Show on Saturday 13/4 and Sunday 14/4 will be closed. We apologize for any inconvenience. Next week together again with good health.”
The singer remains in hospital with his health however showing no concern. According to the latest information, the popular singer is expected to be discharged within the day.
Shortly afterwards, the nightclub made a new announcement about the state of health of Nikos Vertis, with the singer himself communicating it.
«Nikos Vertis is better. The food poisoning that exhausted him so badly yesterday is making a steady improvement. With the help of excellent hospital care in two or three days he will be well again. Thank you very much for the interest and the warm messages of support from all of you”, the announcement states”.
