Híradó’s reporter, Ádám Török, said in his live report that the police had completed the investigation at the scene of the small plane accident in Rákresztúr late in the afternoon, where now only the area buried with earth indicates the place of the impact.
At 11:30 in the morning, the disaster management was notified that a small plane had disappeared from the radar near Martonvásár and had presumably crashed. The firefighters from Érd, Törökbálint, and Martonvásár searched for the missing plane with 4 trucks and 20 people, and the army helicopter joined the operation. The police did not allow journalists to enter the area for a long time.
RTL Híradó knows that the plane took off from Tököl, with two people on board, a young man and an older man. They searched for a long time for the victims, who were no longer able to be helped by the rescuers who arrived at the scene, even though a rescue helicopter also arrived.
It wasn’t easy for the scene investigators either, because the plane hit the ground with such force that they couldn’t bring it to the passenger compartment, they had to dig out the wreckage with work machines. The pieces of the plane were transported by trucks, so there was nothing left of the wreckage at the site.
The police have launched a criminal investigation into the tragedy.
