Iran informed its neighbors of its retaliation against Israel 72 hours in advance, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian said today. As the Iranian regime became known, it had proceeded with a corresponding update on the imminent attack with drones and missiles also towards Washington.
“Almost 72 hours ago from our operations, we informed our friends and neighbors in the region that Iran’s response against it Israel it was certain, legal and irreversible,” the head of Iranian diplomacy said at a press conference.
The foreign minister also stated that the Islamic Republic does not intend to continue “defense operations”, but will protect itself “against any new attack”.
“Exercising the right of legal defense shows his responsible approach Iran to regional and international peace and security,” writes Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in X.
“At this point, the Islamic Republic of Iran has no intention of continuing defensive operations, but if necessary, it will not hesitate to protect its legitimate interests against any new attack,” he wrote hours after Iran launched a major wave of about 300 attack drones and missiles in its first direct strike against Israel.
