Two weeks ago, Herman Brusselmans made another appearance in a football programme. At Extra Time, the columnist/writer joined the table of Filip Joos, among others, and that provoked mixed reactions. These will probably also come after a remarkable outpouring.

As always, Brusselmans was his foul-mouthed self at Extra Time. For example, he immediately lashed out at football players, “most of whom are just stupid”, as he said without any nuance.
But many people appreciate the duality in Brusselmans: on the one hand he often has a strong punch, on the other hand he also has a high cuddliness factor, which means that many people find the man extremely sympathetic.

In the weekly magazine There Brusselmans has a regular column and in it he made a very striking outpouring about a BV. Well, actually it was three promises he once made to himself.
Brusselmans opened sharply. “First: I will never masturbate with a naked Margriet Hermans in mind. Second: I will never vote for the communist party. And third: I will never ride a cargo bike.” Although that last promise in particular seems to be one that he will no longer keep. “Necessity breaks law.
