Outstanding player Lorenzo Shimich, score: 6
Did a good job in the center of the defense, the disappointing player Joseph Ganda, score: 5
was far from affecting the game
After seven consecutive games without a win in all competitions, Maccabi Haifa finally started a new path when they beat Bnei Sakhnin 0:1 in Sami Ofer this evening (Saturday) in the 29th round of the Premier League (the third in the top playoffs).
Although the Greens tasted victory for the first time since March 3, it was not easy. The game opened with a storm for them, when already in the first minute, Dean David took advantage of the confusion in the visitors’ defense after a cross from Kenny Seif from the left side, and pushed the advantage goal from close range in front of an open goal.
Masai Dago’s team continued to control the ball and dictate the pace, but were unable to subdue Mohamed Abu Neil, and both teams went to the locker room at halftime with a score of 0:1.

Into the second half the champion as if she didn’t come out. She was weak and naive, closed in behind and let Slobodan Drapić’s trainees control the ball, attack and initiate, and only by luck did she not concede the equalizer.
Following the victory, Maccabi Haifa narrowed, at least temporarily, the gap from the leading Maccabi Tel Aviv to seven points. Despite this, the club cannot be satisfied with the unconvincing ability displayed by the team.
