Super talent Bo Nickal is ashamed of his performance during tonight’s UFC 300 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Match report from Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage

Brundage sends a kick, slips. Cody sends a hard left that sits, Nickal responds with a takedown but Cody manages to stand up after an explosive scramble. Nickal pushes him up against the cage, works on a single leg, lifts but Cody manages to get back to his feet. Nickal backs up and sort of weighs Cody down time and time again. Nickal tries to connect the legs and looks for the choke. Cody turns and gets to half butterfly guard, but Bo steps right over to full mount. Nickal tried to advance position but instead lost his current one. No problems, however, as Bo quickly takes his back.

Cody tags in but Bo answers with a heavy body kick. Nickal goes for the takedown but is reversed and falls to the mat himself. Quick to his feet and another takedown attempt, this time he succeeds. Brundage at the bottom again. Bo goes to full mount, looks for arm triangle. Cody reverses and gives back, Nickal connects body triangle and rear naked choke. The match is over, Cody claps.
Dissatisfied with his performance
After the fight, Nickal gave himself two thumbs down and during an interview with Joe Rogan, he expresses disappointment with his own performance. For the first time in his professional career, the opponent made it beyond the first round. However, the American is grateful to take with him the experience of stepping into a second round. Something he suspects he will benefit from in his career going forward.
