Customize Your Music Player with Foobar2000: Step-by-Step Guide and Tutorial

Fantastic player, because you can completely customize it to your own liking. For example, I can now filter in 4 columns within my folder hierarchy in a completely custom interface. The 5th column is the filenames. And the bottom of my screen shows a photo and biography of the artist in addition to the playlist. I gave that last part of the screen tabs. Two other tabs are the lyrics and similar artists from Last.fm. At the bottom I have a graphical representation of the wave file as a progress bar.

I found two good YouTube tutorials on how to make this. An old who explained the basics. And a some newer ones that makes Foobar2000 look really cool.

In the latter tutorial you can also download and import his setup.

My setup differs from the tutorial in terms of filtering. I use this in the ReFacets plugin. Main directory:
