A game has emerged where you become an investigator investigating mysterious phenomena occurring at school and simply perform ‘simple tasks.’

Kimidori Soft released ‘School Paranormal Laboratory’ on Steam on the 12th.

School Strange Research Institute is a game where you find objects stained with resentment at a school where strange phenomena occur, put them in a box, and bring them back. Up to four investigators can play as a team.

Players use the character’s helmet-type headgear and smart glasses to look around the school. The headgear can be equipped with battery-powered lights and IC chips. You must focus on managing your mental power with the lights and choose the IC chips well to receive various effects to increase your survival.

Each IC chip has a level, and its value and performance increase according to this level, making strategic selection important. Smart glasses display necessary information at all times and help collect observations of paranormal phenomena.

The main goal of the game is to find grudge-stained objects and fill the target amount. Accordingly, the element of a team bringing out items to reach a target is reminiscent of Lethal Company, and the element of collecting data by directly observing supernatural phenomena is reminiscent of Phasmophobia.
