The Salvadoran Football Federation (FESFUT) canceled the compensation to 12 former AD Chalatenango players who filed lawsuits against the northern team to the Federation’s legal department for non-payment.
Former Chalatenango players Alexander Mendoza, Ricardo Guevara, Leonardo Menjivar, Jaime Mozo, Alejandro Henriquez, Joshua Dubon, Meyson Capacho, Diego Alvarado, Jose Ortega, Jairo Gonzalez, Levi Martinez and Geovanni Henriquez are the ones who received the debt payment of fees valued at $37, 826.98.
The players sued the team for the lack of their fees while the now-defunct Chalatenango was playing in the First Division of soccer in El Salvador. The federation’s Disciplinary Commission applied the maximum sanctions and disaffiliated AD Chalatenango from professional football. In addition, he disqualified the team’s directors from any activity related to federated football for 10 years, starting on March 27.
Among them are: Bertilio Henriquez Ayala, Rafael Alexander Zelaya Sibrian, Ever Antonio Cortez Gomez, Roxana Abigail Dubon de Cortez, Jose Lito Castillo Vasquez, Nancy Nohemy Santos Monge, Rogelio Henriquez Serrano, Carlos Armando Henriquez Ayala, Oscar Eduardo Guardado Galdamez and Jose Boanerges Chinchilla.
It should be remembered that the northern team was relegated in the 2022-2023 season and did not register in the Second Division, which is why it had to register in the third for the current season but will no longer be able to due to the sanction.
