In Brussels, the area around Sint-Goriksplein was evacuated after the police received a report about an armed man. Police special units are on site. The man is said to be hiding in a building.
“The police have received a report that there is an armed person in a building. The police are on site and have set up a perimeter as a precaution and cleared and evacuated everything. We cannot say more at this time,” said police spokeswoman Ilse Van de Keere.
