Mumbai: Former Indian player Mohammad Kaif has said that he ignored the advice given by Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma during the match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. While in the commentary box during the match, Kaif revealed that Pandya did not bother to listen to Rohit’s words. The Indian team captain’s instruction was to use the fielder on the off side against Dinesh Karthik.
When Pandya did not obey this, Dinesh Karthik hit three consecutive boundaries to that side. “Rohit Sharma knows that Dinesh Karthik will play to that side. Dinesh Karthik scored 53 runs off 23 balls in the match.

After losing the toss, RCB went into bat and scored 196 runs at the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. RCB’s top scorer is Duplessi who scored 61 runs off 40 balls with four fours and three sixes. Rajat Patidar (50 off 26 balls) also scored a half-century for RCB. Jasprit Bumrah took five wickets for Mumbai. Bumrah’s five-wicket haul was conceded only 15 runs in four overs.
