Players from the Jocoro team confirmed that the board of the current runner-up has owed salaries since April, and said that they do not report threats from the managers. The Jocoro team recognized the Licensing Committee of the Salvadoran Football Federation (FESFUT) for its initiatives to regulate compliance with professional contracts.
Jocoro’s official Twitter account, meanwhile, stated that what was reported was false. The players reported that on March 27 of this year they received the first fortnight of the month of February and that after that none of the remaining payments have been canceled. They point out that on many occasions they tend not to report reprisals by the directors of the national clubs to official bodies.
The Licensing Committee requested from the First Division clubs, this Tuesday, the payment sheets of the players and the coaching staff and documents that guarantee compliance with payments in professional contracts
