The reopens on Saturday at 11am Mercatello Park a Salerno. The long and complex renovation, modernization and extraordinary maintenance works were financed for a total amount of five million euros by the Campania Region and created by the Municipality of Salerno.
The president of the Campania Region will participate in the reopening Vincenzo De Luca and the mayor of Salerno Vincenzo Napoli which will illustrate all the new features of the Mercatello Park, a green and social hub that is very popular and loved by fellow citizens and visitors.
The “new” Mercatello Park is a harmonious succession of meadows where you can run freely or lie down in the sun, rose gardens, trees, pergolas and botanical jewels to admire, avenues for walking and benches for relaxing, a playroom for children, an entertainment area and events, fitness area. A new Mercatello Park to be discovered and experienced starting from Saturday morning, a garden to be loved and respected.
During the inauguration, access to the Mercatello Park will be permitted exclusively on the side in front of the Post Office in via Fiume
