– Just after 12.30 the riders start for the 64th edition of the Brabantse Pijl.

– In a fast opening phase, several riders try to get away, including men from Cofidis, Arkéa-B&B Hotels and TDT-Unibet, but for now we are still waiting for the right break.

– Ayco Bastiaens (Soudal-Quick Step), Nicolas Debeaumarché (Cofidis), Robbe D’Hondt (dsm-firmenich PostNL) and Tomáš Kopecký (TDT-Unibet) ride ahead of the peloton for a while, but quickly catch up again grabbed.

– Alan Riou (Arkéa-B&B Hotels), Nicolas Debeaumarché (Cofidis), Jens Reynders (Bingoal WB Development Team), Dylan Vandenstorme (Team Flanders-Baloise), Lorrenzo Manzin (TotalEnergies), Anders Halland Johannessen (Uno-X Mobility), Jordi Warlop (Soudal Quick-Step) and Tomáš Kopecký (TDT-Unibet Cycling Team) make the first breach, although the difference is limited to about 45 seconds.

– The leading group did not get more than a two-minute lead and was already overtaken by the peloton after the first time at Moskesstraat, about 70 kilometers from the finish.

– Alec Segaert, Antoine Huby and Andres Leknessund then opted for the attack and rode ahead of the peloton for a while. The favorites kept quiet there for a while.
