The head of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Christos Rammos, speaks from the Delphi Forum for “justification” for the decision by the Supreme Court on the case of the surveillance of Nikos Androulakis.
He reminded that the Authority had intervened from the beginning for the specific law by pointing out the problems.
Regarding what happened in the past he stated that “I spoke about a toxic climate from top government officials. If I appealed to Justice I would have to resign,” he pointed out, “and I have no intention of resigning. No matter what the obstacle is, I will not back down.”
It is “extremely offensive” to say I was politically motivated, he answered a question. “This insinuation is a wretchedness. When we don’t have arguments, we throw mud and commit character assassination,” he stressed.
I applied the law scrupulously, he stressed in relation to his actions.
