Maduro questions Noboa for assault on the Mexican embassy

Caracas. The Venezuelan president, Nicolás Maduro, yesterday questioned his Ecuadorian counterpart, Daniel Noboa, for the assault on the Mexican embassy in that country last Friday night, and assured that said action was carried out in coordination with the United States.

“Noboa, he doesn’t even go to the bathroom to relieve himself without asking permission from the United States embassy in Ecuador, so everything he did was done in coordination and with the permission of the United States Government, don’t have any doubts,” he indicated. the president during his weekly program “Con Maduro Más” broadcast on the state channel Venezolana de Televisión.

Madurro stressed that he anticipated the violent irruption, “the commander of the Southern Command (Laura J. Richardson) passed first through Ecuador and then Argentina.”

“This is the barbarity of the extremist right that is reaching the government in some Latin American countries, they are neo-Nazi, neo-fascist positions, they are,” he said and accused Noboa of supporting sectors “of the extremist right” in Venezuela.

Solidarity of Pedro Castillo

The imprisoned former Peruvian president Pedro Castillo published in X: “I express my solidarity with the brother country of Mexico. The attack suffered in his embassy by the government of Ecuador is condemnable, since it violates International Law by trying to kidnap Mr. Jorge Glass, with whom I identify, since I have experienced this type of injustice firsthand. The Organization of American States (OAS) and human rights organizations should act immediately and not act with political calculation as they did in my case. “I firmly maintain the hope that tyrannies will come to an end, both in Peru and in Ecuador.”
