People’s Community Center “Erevan 2022” and the Initiative Committee for the Preservation of Military Historical Memory – Burgas organize, with the help of the Municipality of Burgas, an exhibition of radio sets and communication equipment produced in Bulgaria before 1955, some of which were used in the Bulgarian army.
The event will take place on April 13 and 14, Saturday and Sunday, in Military Club – Burgas.
An important part of the exhibition will be the “TULAN” radio sets. They are the first produced in Bulgaria. Burgas is proud that this innovation originated here.
The owner and manufacturer of the “TULAN” brand is the local Prenerovi family. Its representatives will be present at the opening of the exhibition. The name “TULAN” is an abbreviation meaning “Diligence and perseverance launch activity and progress”.
Regional State Archives and Regional History Museum will provide visitors with a wealth of information on the subject of radios. Radio amateurs from Sofia, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Burgas, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Sliven, Kyustendil and others will participate in the exhibition. Even the youngest – graduates of technical high schools – are invited to participate.
Part of the exhibition will be a rich collection from the fund of the Naval Forces of the Republic of Bulgaria. A bazaar will also be organized on some of the exhibits provided.
“Welcome to the exhibition! We will try to make the first spring days in Burgas even sunnier with a musical greeting from Yerevan 2022 community center, good music, photos. In the lobby of the Military Club, there is also an exhibition of the participants in the eighth national contest of WORLD PEACE!”, say the organizers.
Visitors are welcome on 13/04/2024 – from 2:00 p.m., and on 14/04/2024 – until 2:00 p.m. Official opening and presentation – on 13.04.2024, Saturday, from 17.00.
