A young Cuban mother who ended up in a coma a few weeks ago in the city of Tampa, Florida, has shown improvements, which is a relief for her loved ones.
This is the young Arianna Hernández, who was admitted in a coma to the Melech Hospice House in Temple Terrace, a city incorporated into Hillsborough County, adjacent to Tampa, on March 28.
A video shared in the Facebook group ‘Cuban Mothers for a Better World’ shows the young woman being examined in bed. The person asks you to answer a series of questions, answering affirmatively with one blink and negatively with two.
“Are you Cuban?” the person asked, to which the young woman responded with a single blink, confirming her nationality. This was confirmed again when asked if she was from the Dominican Republic, something the woman denied with two quick blinks.
“She’s in size!” her husband can be heard saying excitedly in the short video.
According to the information shared on social networks by the profile Scissorsthe young woman, originally from Guanabacoa, ended up in a coma after suffering a severe seizure and multiple “cerebral infarctions,” highlighting the delicate situation in which she found herself.
The publication explains that, due to this, the woman was left without oxygen for several minutes, causing considerable damage to her brain.
The text states that the doctors told the young woman’s family that the chances of her recovering were minimal, so the improvement shown by her represents a relief for her loved ones.
After what happened, a minor child was left alone and without the care of his mother. Although her husband recently managed to travel to Florida from the Island to see her son, he does not have a job, so his situation is difficult.
To help the family, loved ones started a campaign on the platform GoFundMe to raise money for the young woman’s medical expenses.
Among the comments on the video, several users were happy about his apparent improvement, noting that they wished him a complete recovery so he could return to his family.
