Stock Market Update: Salmar Operating Profit Estimate Lowered, Circa Group CEO Buys Shares, Nordic Unmanned Chairman Resigns – Latest News

“Salmar normally does not provide further information than the actual volumes in the slaughter update, and we see a risk that the current consensus estimate for operating profit in the first quarter of NOK 1.86 billion is too optimistic. After the update, we believe the operating profit should come in at NOK 1.6-1.7 billion, and we thus see a downside risk of 3-5 percent to the current estimate for operating profit in 2024, provided that the guidance for harvesting volumes is kept unchanged,” writes the brokerage house according to TDN Direct.

The brokerage got it right. The share fell 3.1 percent from the start.

Bertel Karlstedt, CEO of Circa Group, has bought his first 100,000 shares in the company at an average price of NOK 1.24 per share. The share rose 8.8 per cent after the news to NOK 1.30.

Kingfish Company made an operating profit of minus 3.3 million euros in the fourth quarter of 2023, compared to minus 1.2 million euros in the same period the previous year. The turnover was 5.2 million euros in the quarter – up from 5.1 million last year.

“The current main focus is to optimize operations in the Netherlands, but we also continue to investigate expansion plans in the US, Europe and other regions,” writes the company.

The share rises over 6 percent.

Kongsberg Automotive has won a contract worth over NOK 1.2 billion. The car parts manufacturer must deliver equipment that enables customers to comply with new EU legislation that regulates CO2 emissions from heavy vehicles, lorries and lorries. The share rose 4.2 percent from the start.
