San Vicente suffered a resounding defeat at the Las Delicias National Stadium, after Santa Tecla deployed its entire arsenal and achieved a 5-0 victory on date 33 of the 2023-24 National League Lottery Cup.
The locals took an early lead with Walter Menjívar’s goal in the 5th minute. With the peace of mind of being ahead on the scoreboard and dominating the rival, Santa Tecla found the second one minute before the break thanks to Diego Velásquez (44′) .

The victory made Santa Tecla climb to fourth position in the table with 61 points, two more than Usulután who will visit Cuscatleco tomorrow. For its part, San Vicente added its 19th defeat in the tournament and remains in 11th place, with 26 points.
