Polish mercenaries numbering up to a company arrived in the Orekhov area of the Zaporozhye region, which is temporarily under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was stated by the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov, transmits TASS.
“A company-sized unit of Polish mercenaries arrived. This information is confirmed by local residents. From Orekhov they can move to sections of the line of combat contact at Rabotino, Malaya Tokmachka or Verbovoy,” he informed.
According to his data, units from Poles have been present in different regions in the Northern Military District zone since 2022.
“A unit within a company enters and remains on the line of combat contact for a month or a month and a half, they are constantly changing. At the moment when they enter, they are formally on vacation or retired, they are not the Polish army, they are on their own, acting through the Ukrainian “foreign legion,” Rogov explained.
