Ukrainian media service MEGOGO has updated the functionality of the platform to personalize the user experience. According to the company’s press service, users now have the opportunity to create separate profiles within one account.
The innovation allows you to share the interests and preferences of different family members, because everyone will receive a personal recommendation feed in accordance with their views. More than 60% of MEGOGO clients consume content in a collective format, so the differentiation of profiles is intended to improve the quality of service.
“Thanks to agreements with copyright holders, users can choose their favorite characters for their profile icons – SpongeBob, Kung Fu Panda, PAW Patrol and South Park characters, etc.,” the company notes.

To create a separate profile, the user needs to register an account on the platform. After logging in, the option to create a new profile will appear, where you need to indicate its type – adult, children under 6 or under 12 years old, which will limit the available content. In addition, the user will be able to choose an avatar and profile name to suit their taste.
All purchases will remain linked to your account for easy content management. The change will be to split browsing history and preferences between different profiles, allowing for personalized recommendations.
The new feature of personal profiles is already available for Ukrainian and international users of the MEGOGO media service. This will help create an individual selection of content for each family member.
