Jürgen Klopp lashed out at Hans Kraay at the press conference in the run-up to the Europa League match against Atalanta Bergamo. The ESPN analyst/presenter recently conducted a very critical interview with Ajax midfielder Jordan Henderson. That interview went viral in England, and also reached Liverpool manager Klopp.

“What a terrible interview that was,” says Klopp after a question from ESPN reporter Milan van Dongen. The German is referring to the conversation that Kraay had with Henderson after the Ajax – Fortuna Sittard match (March 10). “Do you know anyone who liked this?” asks Klopp, who is then told by Van Dongen that Kraay has apologized on television for the interview. “I accept the apology, on behalf of Henderson,” is his response.
