The dismissed UDO serviceman, accused of killing a teenager in Kyiv, does not admit his guilt, the examination showed that he was drunk at the time of the crime.

This was reported by the communications adviser of the State Bureau of Investigation Tetyana Sapyan on the air of the national telethon, reports UP.

“Against the background of this incident, misinformation began to spread on social networks that it was allegedly a former employee of the State Security Bureau. I emphasize that this is not true. This is a military serviceman, a driver of the State Security Department, who is currently suspended from duty.

He was charged with premeditated murder. He is currently in a pre-trial detention center, he will soon be remanded in custody (investigators are asking for his detention without bail),” she said.

Sapian added that the State Security Office and its management are contributing to the investigation as much as possible.

The adviser specified that at the time of the crime, the serviceman was not on duty.

According to the results of the examination, the suspect was drunk (1.2 ppm of alcohol in the blood).
