Sardinia: everything is ready in the Council for the installation session

(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, 08 APR – The building of the Regional Council of Sardinia, in via Roma in Cagliari, is ready to welcome, tomorrow at 10.30, the debut of the fifty-nine newly elected members plus the governor Alessandra Todde, for starters of the XVII legislature of the history of Sardinian Autonomy. There is a lot of anticipation and the attention of the media, not only regional ones, is very high: the newspapers that have requested accreditation for the inaugural session are more than 30 with over 70 journalists, teleoperators and photographers who will follow the proceedings. During the session, some tasks foreseen by the Statute and the regulations will be carried out: first of all the establishment of the temporary Bureau which will lead the Chamber until the election of its president, scheduled as the last item on the agenda. The oldest elected councilor will preside, it will therefore be up to Lorenzo Cozzolino (Psi) to introduce the proceedings, with his communications, while the four youngest councilors will carry out the functions of temporary secretaries. The task will therefore be entrusted to the reconfirmed Alessandro Solinas and Michele Ciusa of the M5s and to the debutants Alessandro Pilurzu of the PD and Umberto Ticca of the Reformers. Afterwards, all the councilors will have to take the oath and then move on to the programmatic declarations of the new president of the council with the presentation of the government team and the oath. The last task before the closure is the choice of the head of the Sardinian Assembly for the next five years, while the rest of the members of the Bureau, two vice presidents, three quaestors and a secretary, will be elected in the immediately following session called by the new president.
