Divinely Dante, Divinely Paper

9.30 am at the Sala Pasolini in via Alfonso Alvarez in Salerno

The legacy of the Supreme Poet, whose production would not have reached the present day without paper, and the journey of “The Divine Comedy” are at the center of the initiative aimed at secondary schools that have joined the the homonymous competition organized by Comieco in collaboration with the Dante Alighieri Committee Society of Salerno. Three moments will make up the appointment: “Dante and the Paper Documents that marked his life” (from the birth certificate, to the marriage contract at the age of 11, gradually… up to the epitaph on the tomb), edited by prof. Pina Basile; the theatrical show “Dante and the recycling of paper” curated by Marco Passiglia and Janet De Nardis inspired by the new Comieco podcast, La Divina Carta, which arrived on the main platforms during Paper Week. in which Dante and Virgil come back to life to undertake a new imaginative journey to tell the vices and virtues of today’s society in the face of separate collection and recycling of paper and cardboard; awarding of student works.

“C-ART | Paper as an artistic expression”

6.30 pm in the Hall of Frescoes of the San Michele Complex (suggested entrance on via Bastioni 14)

Michele Buonomo, Vice President of the Carisal Foundation, talks with the “Paper Artists” Gilda Pantuliano and Ivano Troisi. A dialogue to discover the most creative aspects of paper and cardboard with Gilda Pantuliano, who has always combined her artistic research with her commitment as an activist for the environment, both in terms of themes and the materials used, and Ivano Troisi, who focuses on his creative path starting from the observation of nature to implement an analysis of the processes that characterize its mutations. Event organized in collaboration with the Carisal Foundation. Presentation by Fabio Avella, President of the Collaterart Association.

The Magic Card

10am-12pm at IC BRACIGLIANO, Bracigliano – SA, IC SANZA, Buonabitacolo -SA

An educational experience focused on paper and cardboard collection and recycling techniques organized by Sergema. During the workshops the children will use cellulose materials such as sheets, toilet paper rolls, cards and paper straws, to create decorations, useful objects for the classroom such as pen holders and baskets, and also toys.

Bewildered

3-6pm Paper Bar laboratory by Dotfog Studio via Nuova Pizzofalcone, 2 Naples

Workshop, organized by Dotfog, focused on upcycling in the bookbinding field by exploring the transformation of var paper materials into unique booklets. During the workshop, participants will learn to create booklets rich in meaning, combining texts, shapes and images in a collective creative process that aims to produce works of visual and poetic impact. The conclusion of the workshop includes a session open to the public to share and narrate the developed projects.

RiciclART

17:30-18:30, Centro Pastorale San Giuseppe, via Guido Vestuti snc, Salerno

Animated reading and creative recycling workshop organized by Saremo Alberi aimed at families with children aged 6/10 years invited to choose a fairy tale together and bring it to life through the use of various animation techniques and to try their hand at a practical workshop, using recycled materials to create works of art and objects inspired by the story you just heard.

PAPER WEEK CHALLENGE

The Paper Week Challenge is a prize quiz where the winner is whoever knows the most about waste separation and recycling of paper and cardboard. Every evening, from Monday 8 to Friday 12 April 2024 at 7.00 pm, the live streaming heat is open to everyone to compete for the title of “cartology expert” and an Amazon purchase voucher worth €100.
