Reported by CNN, Tuesday (9/4/2024), the new total solar eclipse will be visible in Mexico one hour from now or at 14.07 local time. However, currently it is reported that part of the solar eclipse has begun to be seen there.
A partial solar eclipse was reportedly visible in Mazatlan, on Mexico’s Pacific coast. Some people in Mexico will witness the eclipse’s dramatic display for the first time today.
Later, within the next hour, the moon will move slowly in front of the sun. Then a total solar eclipse will occur when the moon completely blocks the sun.
It is estimated that the total solar eclipse in Mexico will only last about four minutes. Mexicans wishing to view the eclipse are also advised to wear certified eclipse glasses or use handheld solar viewing devices.
