According to the club’s press release, both coaches will leave after the season. It was Jönköpings-Posten first to report on.
– It is sad when talented employees leave, but we wish both Peter and Ulf the best of luck in the future, says Richard Nylin, acting club director of HV71 in the press release.
Peter “Humlan” Hammarström has spent three seasons in HV71’s SDHL team as assistant coach and sports director. His contract with the club expires on April 30 and he chose not to extend it, according to the club.
Thanks to the coaches
– Peter has done very, very well for HV71 and has been well-liked throughout the organization. Now he chooses to move on with new challenges and although it is sad for us, we of course wish him the best of luck in the future, says Richard Nylin.
Head coach Ulf Hall also chooses to leave his role despite two years remaining on the contract. According to the club, it must be about a family situation that was decisive for his announcement.
– Ulf will be missed with his commitment and hockey skills and we thank him for his efforts with us in HV71, says Richard Nylin.
