Vienna (OTS) – One day before the end of this year’s Diagonale, today, on Monday, April 8, 2024, in addition to the presentation of the Carl Mayer and Thomas Pluch Screenplay Awards, the main awards ceremony of the Austrian Film Festival will also take place in Graz. The ORF is represented in the program of the Styrian film festival with a total of 27 productions. After the Franz Grabner Prize was awarded to the ORF co-production “Eugenie Schwarzwald:
Pioneer of Modernity” as Best TV Documentary on Saturday, April 6th, there were or are still more awards for six other productions with ORF participation. This year’s Thomas Pluch screenplay prizes were awarded to “Des Teufels Bad” and “Sleeping with a Tiger” in the morning. In the evening the main awards ceremony will take place at the Graz Orpheum. Eleven awards will be given to the feature and documentary films “The Klezmer Project”, “Club Zero”, “Vista Mare”, “Rickerl – Music is at Most a Hobby” and “Des”, which were co-financed by ORF as part of the film/television agreement “Devil’s Bath” and “Sleeping with a Tiger” were presented.
