Standard supporters, like those of Louvain, cannot attend the meeting between the two teams. They displayed a banner with a clear message, addressed to the Pro League and its decision-makers.
Standard is playing the second meeting of its Europe Play-Offs right now, against OHL. A meeting for which supporters are banned, due to the incidents that occurred in Anderlecht after the Belgian Cup match.
Ivan Leko had already spoken about it at a press conference this Friday, football should not be played without supporters. According to him, other sanctions, such as fines, should be favored, but “those for whom the club represents everything” should not be punished.
The clear message from Standard supporters to the Pro League
On the sidelines of this meeting, certain members of the PHK came to display the T4 of the Sclessin stadium with a pretty banner, addressed to the Pro League and its decision-makers.
The message is clear: “Against repression”. Standard players will only find a full Sclessin on April 23, for the reception of Mechelen.
