Legendary Hong Kong, Chinese and American actor, producer Jackie Chan celebrated his anniversary. The legend of world cinema turned 70 on Sunday, April 7.
On this occasion, he published an appeal to his fans social networks.

According to the actor, who is also a director and producer of many films, his friends often reminded him of his age before the anniversary. In the post, Chan admitted that when he heard the number 70, his heart seemed to stop for a moment and he couldn’t believe it.
“After I recovered from the shock, the second thing that would come to my mind is a saying that my older brother Sammo Hang once said: ‘Being able to grow old is happiness.’ Especially for us stunt people, we don’t know , how lucky we are to be able to grow old”— wrote Jackie Chan.
The winner of the honorary “Oscar” award for outstanding services in the cinematography (received in 2016) also commented on the news about the alleged deterioration of his health. The 70-year-old movie star noted that he is feeling well.
“This is just the look of the character for my latest film. The character requires me to have gray hair, a white beard and look old. Over the years, I’ve always been willing to try something new for a film, whether it’s an elaborate stunt or a breakthrough character appearance. I’ve been in the entertainment industry for 62 years and cherish every moment”– admitted Jackie Chan.
