Complaint about the ND congress in Zappeio: “How much did the “bankrupt” party pay?” – 2024-04-08 15:37:22

In the midst of social uproar over the chilling murder of 28-year-old Kyriaki outside the AT Ag. Anargyron and the CoE’s “bombshell” decision on the wiretapping scandal, the “blue” faction is trying to give laudatory tones to the anniversary conference being held in Zappeio, with high-ranking guests such as the president of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. However, a complaint that reached documentonews.gr casts a shadow over his project Mrs. Mitsotakis to rally the party ahead of the European elections.

In particular, a person with knowledge of the operation of the endowment in Zappeion raises questions in relation to the amount of the price for the rental of the Mansion, based on the spaces used for the holding of the conference.

“How much did he pay to rent which premises? Did he pay the financial price for the exterior spaces of the Zappeion Garden, as foreseen?’ he wonders and adds:

“Were ND charged the costs of the time required to set up the event at Zappeion? Apart from the peristyle, for which other interior spaces was the legal rent paid?”

And the source, who wishes to remain anonymous, continues:

“Did you deposit a bank guarantee letter as provided in addition to the rental price? And if so, from which bank and when? Were the costs to Zappeio paid and the letter of guarantee paid within ten days, as required by law, before the event? Were the costs of cleaning, security officers, electricity and TV broadcast added up? Who paid the costs of the scenery, stage, lighting, sound installations? The party of New Democracy, the central government, or the fund of Zappeios Megaros?”.

In addition, the specific person questions whether all the prescribed arrangements and obligations were observed, as provided by the archaeological service given that the building is a protected neoclassical building, but also whether they parked the vehicles only in the Zappeion parking lot or in other outdoor areas of the Zappeion, because “passing, stopping and parking in the external areas of Zappeion is prohibited by order of the Directorate of New Antiquities, as the external area is of archaeological interest”.

These questions demand answers from the relevant officials of the ruling party, which owes the banks about half a billion euros at the moment when the prime minister, who is equally indebted to the banks and also to members of the Family, increases his real estate without stopping.
