Malmö FF star Sebastian Nanasi started on Sunday in the 2-0 victory against Hammarby IF at home at Eleda Stadium, and called for a penalty in the first half in the Allsvenskan big meeting.
Nanasi hurled a finish at Bajen defender Edvin Kurtulu’s one arm in the penalty area, and then it was a corner. Nanasi thinks it should have been a penalty.
– He knows that it touched his arm, but he thinks that he had his arm next to his body, so then it is again this hand rule. I do not know. I say the ball goes into the goal, unless he takes it with his hand. Then it’s a matter of judgement, but I think it’s punishment, he tells Discovery+.
Nanasi later played Isaac Kiese Thelin to make it 1-0, but did not account for any own goals this afternoon in Skåne.
