Heavy rain poured down Cikampek Main Toll Gate (GT Cikatama) tonight. As a result, traffic in front of GT Cikatama started to get busy going home in 2024.
Monitoring detikcom, rain started falling at the location, Sunday (7/4/2024), at 21.31 WIB. The current condition of Cikatama GT is starting to be filled with travelers.
It can be seen that there are queues of vehicles starting to form at all available toll booths. You can see the vehicle lights turning red from all corners of the toll booth. Meanwhile, the longest queues occurred in three sections on the contraflow route. The vehicles queuing up varied, from small cars to buses.
Previously, at 20.20 WIB, traffic flow on H-3 on the Jakarta-Cikampek (Japek) toll road was still busy. At that time, there were no visible traffic jams on the Japek Toll Road section starting from the East Cikarang Toll Gate, precisely at Km 39 to Cikampek Utama (Cikatama).
Drivers can still go at normal speed. They can also comfortably choose to pass on the main section leading to Cikampek or on the two contraflow lanes of the Japek Toll Road towards Jakarta.
At the Cikatama toll gate, there were no queues at all the doors that were opened. Each vehicle can smoothly carry out transactions independently with an electronic card.
Meanwhile, buses and goods transport vehicles must take the leftmost toll gate from the direction of Jakarta. Then all vehicles will enter the Cipali toll road, which still looks empty.
