Vladimír Polívka’s passion for Porsche cars gets a new boost with the coming spring. The popular actor with Czech-French roots succumbed to the charm of the new elegant crossover Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé, which combines the practical versatility of an SUV with the dynamic design of a sports coupe and emission-free electric mobility with the captivating sports performance of an internal combustion engine.
Vladimír Polívka, who until now drove a Porsche Panamera 4S, took over the keys to the new Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé. The popular theater, television and film actor appreciates the practicality and generous interior space of this SUV, combined with the refined sporty character that is an inherent part of the DNA of Porsche cars.
“I am very happy that we can cooperate with Vladimír Polívka, who is a passionate fan of Porsche cars,” says Michael Krejska, director of Porsche Center Brno, adding: “This year, we will meet Vladimir on the roads behind the wheel of a black Cayenne Coupé with a plug-in hybrid drive, which offers the best of several worlds.”
The Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé is an SUV with an unusual body concept and a hybrid design of the powertrain with the possibility of external charging. The design of a spacious car with a variable interior combines the robustness of an SUV with the sophisticated elegance of the legendary Porsche 911 sports coupe. Behind the rear hinged lid of the five-door body with external dimensions of 4930 x 1983 x 1674 mm, there is a luggage compartment with a volume of 434 to 1344 liters.
The E-Hybrid plug-in hybrid system enables pure electric driving with zero emissions for shorter distances. Under the hood, however, there is also an internal combustion engine, a turbocharged six-cylinder engine, which is ideal for carefree travel to distant destinations and, in a perfectly coordinated connection with the electric motor, offers exciting driving dynamics during sporty driving with immediate reactions to gas pedal commands.
“I’ve loved Porsche since I was little, I drove an older Panamera and dreamed of a 911 like every other boy. I’ve now had the chance to sit in the new Cayenne and I’m absolutely blown away. The car is huge and yet drives like a light sports coupe. Every morning I look forward to getting into it and going anywhere,” Vladimír Polívka evaluates his first experience with the new Porsche and adds: “The new plug-in hybrid is great not only for the mountains, but also for the city, because with the silent electric drive I can drive over 80 kilometers without emissions. At the same time, the Cayenne Coupé already makes it clear with its attractive shapes that it is a pure-blood Porsche, which is confirmed by its ready ferocity with every major step on the gas. But I’m definitely tempted to try the purely electric Taycan, which drives like a real Porsche, but with very low costs.”
Polívk’s Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupé has a total maximum output of 346 kW/470 hp and a maximum torque of 650 Nm. With the Sport Chrono package, this plug-in hybrid model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 254 km/h. According to homologation, the purely electric range is up to 86 km (combined cycle according to WLTP).
