EM Sticker Topps: Why are there no more Panini stickers?
The Italian manufacturer Panini has accompanied many football fans since childhood as a manufacturer of stickers and albums for various football events.
Since 1980, there has been a Panini sticker collection including a matching scrapbook at every European Championship tournament. However, the long-term contract between Panini and FIFA ended in 2022.
The new manufacturer of the popular EM stickers is the US company Topps, which will be UEFA’s exclusive partner for all European championships until at least 2028.
“This partnership is beyond special for us and a huge step on our path to EURO 2024 – and beyond. That’s why we chose none other than The Special One, José Mourinho.” said Topps CMO Patrick Rausch after the announcement.
When will the EM stickers come out in 2024 and where are they available?
Panini usually released the stickers for the respective tournaments around two to three months before the start of the tournament. And the new manufacturer Topps also follows this.
Albums, stickers and bundles have been available to pre-order online since mid-March. The official start of shipping for the EM stickers 2024 was March 28, 2024.
The album, stickers and various bundles are available in the official Topps online shop. In addition, the sticker packs and the album can of course also be bought in kiosks and supermarkets.
Individual stickers and unopened packages can also be found on Ebay.

How many stickers are there in the Euro 2024 Topps album?
Even though fans have to prepare for a new collection album for EURO 2024, the structure of the Topps album is similar to that of Panini.
After a short intro with four stickers, we continue with the pictures of the European Championship stadiums and the groups.
In the 88-page scrapbook, which includes a total of 728 stickers, each team is depicted with a double page with 18 stickers each.
In addition to the standard stickers, fans can also look forward to various special stickers. In total, there are a whopping 58 more stickers compared to the Panini 2022 World Cup collection.
What colors is the scrapbook?
For the first time, the EURO 2024 collection album will only be available as a hardcover album.
The Topps album is decorated in a shade of blue. The large EM logo is printed in the middle, and the colorful elements of the logo can be found in the lower area.
The Topps logo on the scrapbook is quite discreet in the top right corner.

Which German players are in the EM sticker album?
Of course, Germany can also be found as host in the Topps scrapbook.
As hosts of the European Championships and head of Group A, Germany is also the first team to be featured in the magazine. When choosing stickers in relation to the Germany Euro 2024 squad However, some fans might be quite surprised.
Since both Manuel Neuer and Toni Kroos did not assign their image rights, they are missing from the issue. You’ll also look in vain for shooting star Florian Wirtz and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. Mario Götze is a player who has not played an international match for over a year.
In addition to Neuer, Kroos and Wirtz, other top performers such as Antonio Rüdiger, Jonathan Tah and Kai Havertz also play no role in the Topps European Championship album. Matthias Ginter, Niklas Süle and Timo Werner are there for this.
But it gets even more bizarre: Only Oliver Kahn is listed in the goalkeeper position, which has already caused ridicule on the Internet.
The Germany players in the Topps European Championship album:
All teams each have a double page with 18 player portraits. There is also the captain and an “artist” with their own sticker as well as a “star player”, a “player to watch” and two “top 11 players” on a group overview page.
The German Topps European Championship squad therefore looks like this:
Captain: Ilkay Gundogan Artist: Julian Brandt Other squad: Thilo Kehrer, Nico Schlotterbeck, Benjamin Henrichs, Malick Thiaw, Matthias Ginter, Robin Gosens, Niklas Süle, Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala, Mario Götze, Emre Can, Timo Werner, Leroy Sané, Thomas Müller, Niclas Füllkrug, Karim Adeyemi , Youssoufa Moukoko Legends: Oliver Kahn, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Lothar Matthäus
Curiosities: Which stars are (not) in the EM Album 2024?
All 24 participating teams are immortalized in the EM 2024 scrapbook – although some with special exceptions.
For example, the coats of arms of the major national associations Germany, England, France and Italy cannot be used in the current album because the rights still lie with Panini.
Topps, in turn, gets around this problem by showing the national flags of the relevant European Championship participants in the players’ photos instead of the association’s coat of arms.
Some top stars are also missing from the EM 2024 sticker album because they have not assigned their image rights to Topps. In addition to Toni Kroos, this also includes Kylian Mbappe, who is the favorite at the EURO Top scorer title gilt.

For some players, however, the club is wrong – such as Italy’s Leonardo Bonucci, whose club is listed as Union Berlin, even though he has been playing for Fenerbahce since January.
However, other stars such as Jude Bellingham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane and Kevin De Bruyne are represented in the album (with the correct information).
There are also some no names in the Topp EM 2024 sticker album – even tournament favorites England. “Someone at Topps is making fun of us. How can Luke Thomas get a sticker image for the EURO?” asks one user. The left-back currently plays for Middlesbrough FC in the English second division and has not yet played a senior international match.
What is also surprising is that, in addition to the 24 qualified teams, the nine teams that were unable to prevail in the playoffs are also shown – and therefore Luxembourg also appears in the Topp EM Sticker Album 2024…
