Roel will buy a stand-up chair from Zitcomfort Bennekom in 2021. Roel can enjoy his chair for two years, until he suddenly starts making suspicious noises. The chair creaks from all sides when it rises. Fortunately, it has a three-year warranty period. But unfortunately Zitcomfort Bennekom does not seem to take those three years very seriously…

In August the chair starts to creak. Roel immediately reported the problem to Zitcomfort, but the chair was not repaired until 4 months and endless phone calls later. Roel’s chair will have a completely new interior, so you can assume that it will now last a nice long time. Despite the long wait, he is happy that he can use the chair again. But Roel cheers too early. The chair breaks again after two weeks.

Roel calls and emails a lot to Zitcomfort again, but he is not helped properly. Zitcomfort either does not answer the phone or tells Roel that they will call him back, but then does not do so. After much insistence, Roel at least gets a loan chair from the company, but you guessed it: there is something wrong with that too. It has no stand-up mechanism at all. Nice job, seating comfort.

No stand-up mechanism

Roel has difficulty walking and cannot get up well from his chair, so he really needs that stand-up mechanism. Now he is stuck with two chairs that are of no use to him, so Roel wants Zitcomfort to pick up the loan chair. This contact is of course very difficult and Roel even has to go so far as to threaten to put the chair on the street. Only then will Zitcomfort take action and collect the loan chair.

Well, now Roel is still without a working stand-up chair. Zitcomfort proposes to send a technician on April 8 to fix the chair. But should Roel just rely on that after all this fiddling from Zitcomfort? On to Bennekom to get a story.

A lawyer from Zitcomfort calls us along the way. The company does not want to respond on camera. They do want to come up with a solution. Roel will receive the full amount of 1,750 euros back and can keep the chair if he wishes. If not, they will come pick it up. We don’t like it if a company does not want to respond on camera, but this solution is something that we naturally make Roel very happy with.
