“My daughter Anna changed my life”.
This was admitted by the great Bulgarian actor Lubo Neikov. One of our most beloved artists opened up his soul in an interview with Desi Banova – Plevnelieva for Nova TV.
Neikov and his wife Ginka have been waiting for the appearance of their first child for 14 years.
“I’ve watched her grow, how she changes the world. I’m having a lot of fun with how she perceives the world. I learn from her, not her from me. She doesn’t see the flaws, but the positive side,” confided Neikov.
He also talks about the biggest tragedies in his life – the loss of his mother and brother. Neikov’s mother died in 2018. And his brother left this world 11 years ago.
“You never get over that pain. You lose the ones closest to you, the ones who mean the most to you. It’s not that you don’t love the others.
But family is the closest. When I lost them, I looked to replace them with other people – my friends”.
After the death of his brother, Neikov began to take care of his daughter Ina. She works at Mother’s Home.
“She gives me injections when I need them,” said Neikov.
He also talks about his career. Although he graduated from the technical school of electrical engineering in Cherven Bryag, Neikov knew from childhood what he wanted to do – acting.
Theater is my greatest love. It will always be in first place unlike cinema and television. The acting profession has given me everything – calmness, peace, humility. She didn’t take anything from me,” Neikov added.
