This Friday, the XXII Edition of the Historic Vehicles Meeting begins in the city, where the streets are transformed into a walkway of time, and are dressed in anachronism, with the participation of 30 vehicles of significant historical value.
The activity began with the reception of the participants and the delivery of credentials to the participants, who began the journey from Lisbon Avenue to the Plaza de España, where residents and visitors were admired by such notable examples of the elegant Ford A. from 1927, the majestic Cadillac Deville from 1959 and the iconic Rolls Royce Silver Shadow from 1977, among others. The exhibition gave attendees the unique opportunity to admire these jewels of motorsport up close, true guardians of automotive history. The participants were received by the municipal authorities in the plenary hall of the City Council, where they were given gifts related to the city.
This Saturday, the delegation will leave for Mengíbar, where they will try the churros with chocolate and will move to the Linares ruins of Cástulo. On Sunday morning they will go up to the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Cabeza, to close the meeting with the presentation of trophies after lunch. This act is very loved and admired by the protagonists.

Fans from Pontevedra, Soria, Cuenca, Murcia, Seville, Úbeda have attended this event, sharing some memorable days with the enthusiasts of this sport from Andújar. This Historic Vehicle Meeting is an opportunity to experience the magic of the history of these vehicles in a festive atmosphere full of passion for motors, where history and heritage are disseminated. The Andújar Historical Vehicle Club and the City Council join forces in this event.
