Heracles Almelo is a football club with a rich history and has been an established name in the Dutch football landscape for years. To strengthen its commercial team, Siebert & Wassink is recruiting a driven Business Development Manager.
The focus in this position is on creating new revenue models for Heracles Almelo and the further development of Hettrix. Hettrix is a unique partnership between leading high-tech companies, knowledge institutions and governments with the aim of binding, engaging and retaining technical talent for Almelo and the region. Through the accessibility of football, people are brought together to strengthen the region on themes such as; talent (development), vitality and sustainability. It is your job to further develop this Heracles Almelo initiative and, as an account manager of the Hettrix partners, to see opportunities for and with these partners.
You will also focus on the proposition of the Heracles Foundation, the development of the Heracles Business Academy and the development and marketing of activation programs towards the B2B partners of Heracles Almelo.
The BusinessClub of Heracles Almelo has more than five hundred business relations. A great challenge to convince the Twente business community together with the commercial team, consisting of seven colleagues, of the power of football and the connecting character of Heracles Almelo!
Responsibilities
- Further developing the Hettrix partnership in collaboration with the Commercial Manager and the Hettrix partners
- Drawing up the program and realizing knowledge sessions and events for Hettrix in consultation with the Partnership Manager of Hettrix
- Acting as account manager for the Hettrix partners of Heracles Almelo
- Developing the Heracles Business Academy in collaboration with a business partner
- Further developing and marketing programs such as the Heracles Business Academy, The Fitgame and the Heracles Foundation
- Activate the partnerships with the larger sponsors of Heracles Almelo
- Developing new revenue models for Heracles Almelo in coordination with the Commercial Manager
- Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager
This position is ideal for a candidate with a passion for football. Someone who is socially active in the region and has therefore built up their own network!
We ask:
- Completed HBO/WO education; preferably in Business Administration, Sports Marketing, Sports Economics or similar
- Several years of work experience in a commercial field
- Excellent communication and social skills
- You are proactive and have a creative and decisive market approach
- You have a flexible attitude, which means that you are present at all home games of Heracles Almelo and at business events
- You are socially and socially active in the region

Heracles Almelo is a Dutch professional football club that plays in the Eredivisie from Almelo. Heracles Almelo was founded on May 3, 1903 and has won the national championship twice in the past. The club plays its home games at Erve Asito, which has a capacity of 12,080 spectators since the renovation in 2015. The organization has a total of more than forty permanent employees. With more than five hundred business relationships, the BusinessClub of Heracles Almelo is one of the largest in the region.
