TNI Vice Marshal (Marsdya) Mohamad Tonny Harjono will be appointed as Chief of Staff of the Air Force (KSAU) Today. The inauguration will be led by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
“Today, April 5 2024, at 11.00 WIB, the Inauguration of the Air Force Chief of Staff is scheduled,” said Presidential Staff Coordinator Ari Dwipayana to journalists, Friday (5/4/2024).
Apart from that, Jokowi will also take part in a number of agendas. One of them is the inauguration of the Management
National Quarter of the Scout Movement and Management of the Financial Audit Institution of the National Quarter of the Scout Movement for the 2023-2028 Service Period.
“At the National Palace,” continued Ari.
The Presidential Decree appointing Marshal Tonny as KSAU was signed on March 25 2024. In this Presidential Decree, Jokowi also respectfully dismissed Marshal Fadjar Prasetyo from his position as KSAU.
Viewed on the Pelita Air website, Tuesday (2/4/2024), Tonny Harjono is listed as one of the commissioners. Tonny was born in Jakarta on October 4 1971.
Marsdya Tonny was appointed Commissioner of PT Pelita Air Service based on the Circular GMS Decree regarding the Appointment and Transfer of Duties of the Board of Commissioners dated 5 May 2022.
Tonny Harjono completed the Air Force Unit Command School (SEKKAU) in 2002 and completed the Air Force Command and Staff School (SESKOAU) in 2008.
Tonny has received eight awards, including Satyalancana Wira Nusa and Satyalancana Wira Siaga.
Meanwhile, Tonny Harjono’s career path includes the Ministerial Secretariat of the Ministry of State Secretariat, in this case he became President Jokowi’s aide in 2014, Danlanud Adi Soemarmo in 2016, and Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma in 2018.
Next he became Special Staff of the KSAU in 2020 and Military Secretary to the President (Sesmilpres) in 2020. His last position before being appointed by Jokowi, Marsdya Tonny served as Pangkogabwilhan II.
