The DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service (Gulkarmat) has imposed sanctions on SN, personnel honorary East Jakarta fire department (Damkar East Jakarta) suspect of molesting his own child. SN has now been fired.
“It’s been (fired). Termination of contract,” said Head of DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat Satriadi Gunawan when contacted, Thursday (4/4/2024).
Satriadi emphasized that his party is committed to taking action against existing violations. The dismissal was carried out so that SN could be held accountable for his actions.
“The person concerned can focus on resolving his personal problems after that named as a suspect. We are strict if there is a violation that goes against the applicable provisions,” he said.
Became a Suspect and Detained by the Police
SN was arrested at home in the Cilangkap area, East Jakarta, at 14.27 WIB, Tuesday (2/4) yesterday. The police arrested SN after carrying out a case. For his actions, SN was charged with multiple articles.
“The suspect SN is suspected of committing a criminal act of molesting a child as intended by Article 82 in conjunction with Article 76 E of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Child Protection,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi.
Currently, SN himself has been detained at the Polda Metro Jaya detention center. The police, continued Ade Ary, are still carrying out a series of investigations related to the existing case.
“Currently, the suspect who was arrested yesterday has been detained by the Criminal Investigation Sub-Directorate, Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya,” he said.
Ade said the detention was carried out to facilitate the investigation process. Apart from that, the detention was carried out because of concerns that the suspect would run away and repeat his actions.
“The reasons for detaining them include, among other things, to facilitate the investigation process. They are worried about running away, they are worried about repeating their actions and they are worried that they will destroy evidence,” he said.
