The Belarusian dictator was present on site due to the start of construction of a new hospital. His speech was devoted to the war.
Belarus. Lukashenka at the border with Poland
– Don’t believe anyone that we want to fight. We are preparing for war, I mean that honestly. “If you want peace, prepare for war”, I didn’t come up with it. It’s very well said, he said, quoted by his press service.
Although the dictator emphasized that “Belarus does not want to participate in the war”, the necessary preparations for a possible conflict are being carried out in the country. He pointed out, among others: to supply the army with various types of weapons and equipment.
At the same time, he emphasized that “Belarus does not pose a threat to anyone.” – We don’t have to threaten anyone. We don’t want foreign land, he added.
Lukashenko in Grodno. “We won’t give you to anyone”
During his speech, Alexander Lukashenko stated that while a hospital is being built in Grodno, “they” – that is, unfriendly countries neighboring Belarus – are working on creating trenches. – Now we are digging our land just like them, close to the border (…). We want to build our peaceful future, we are focused on creation, he said.
Addressing the inhabitants of Grodno, he announced that he would not allow anyone to take this city from Belarus. – You are ours, we will not give you to anyone. If anyone thinks that Grodno is a foreign city, not entirely Belarusian, forget it. Grodno is our country, our land, our city. We will not give a single millimeter to anyone, he said.
Lukashenko also noted that the inhabitants of Grodno asked him when he was a “young politician” to solve the problem of traveling to neighboring countries. As he pointed out, Belarus has introduced such regulations. – Now they have separated themselves from us with a fence. It’s not my fault, it’s their policy, he said.
Alexander Lukashenko again at the NATO border
Exactly a week ago, on March 26, the Belarusian dictator showed up at the military unit stationed at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border.
On site, he inspected a tank battalion and activities “checking the combat readiness of military units.”
– Nobody will stick around with anyone. Every violation of the border should be met with a reaction – he then said about provocations at the border.
